Could HydraLions Be The Next Big NFT to Replace Bored Apes Club?
The world of crypto currency continues to grow by leaps and bounds and new innovations are coming out that could completely change the way we think about how we live our lives and how we use currency to facilitate this. the next big NFT to replace Bored Apes Club is going to be HydraLions, an NFT that runs on the Ethereum blockchain. If you’re into digital art or if you’re interested in crypto currency, read on to find out more about this next-generation NFT that could be the future of exchanging goods for value in a digital marketplace.
What is a Non-Fungible Token (NFT)?
In short, non-fungible tokens are special types of crypto tokens that can be purchased and traded between individuals. They’re unique digital assets which are one-of-kind and not interchangeable with other cryptos. Just like a $10 bill has a serial number—and will always have that serial number—an NFT has its own unique ID. But it doesn’t end there; within an individual blockchain network, these tokens can be grouped into a kind of family tree. No matter how many times someone copies their Ethereum wallet address, each token in their possession will belong only to them and no one else. And when they trade those tokens with another individual, they lose all rights over them.
Origin of Crypto Collectibles
Crypto-collectibles can be traced back to a 2013 comic titled The Oatmeal’s Crypto Asset Deck drawn by Matthew Inman. This is also considered one of earliest examples of an ERC721 token on Ethereum. In 2015, cryptocollectibles saw mainstream adoption with CryptoKitties, a digital art project built on top of Ethereum and made possible through non-fungible tokens or ERC-721s.
NFTs Have Great Potential
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have only recently become a hot topic in crypto, but they have great potential. This is because they offer a new way of thinking about how digital ownership can work on blockchains. At their most basic level, NFTs are not unique like your bitcoins or ether—they’re unique like your art is unique. They follow a different set of rules than standard crypto; in fact, you could think of them as digital art.
Why HydraLions NFT Posed to Become the Next Big NFT
Founded by a team of Crypto currency enthusiasts and conceptual artists, HydraLions is currently considered as one of most promising new non-fungible token (NFT) projects. It’s a project that takes inspiration out of the Japanese inspired tattoo scene and builds off the NFT animal art direction. What’s really unique about the HydraLions NFT project however, is the level of rarity and exclusivity built into the distribution model. Only 1000 HydraLions will be minted and sold with 5 different rarity levels with 3 rarity subclasses. The largest distribution of lions will be the most common, with the highest level of rarity being the most exclusive – making this NFT an easy no brainer investment.
